For example, electricians in NSW earn $85,746, carpenters earn $99,241, architects earn $97,459, and structural engineers earn $111,108 on average.
In comparison, the average annual salary for a nurse is $65,204 and for a teacher is $67,979.
Unless you’re in a trade (e.g. carpentry), you will not be doing any physical work when you do go to site – just inspecting progress of the build.
